This is my first car MOC and I tried to create a hot Italian sport car from the 80's, the awesome Ferrari 288 GTO. It's one of my favourite sport car from every time.

About this creation

This time I decided to work without any LDD or CAD project, I only used some photos and videos for modelling it. The car was intended to be fully black but soon I ran out of bricks, so I used other colors. Anyway, likely I'm going to buy the missing black parts next week. Let's see some shots.

First of all an overview from the front-side. It has been very difficult to find a way to reproduce the inlet on the side, this is the best that I can. Any suggestions?

Let's go on with the front. The big hood opens on the center and the car has moving lights. I planned to project a working version of them.

Here is the back, with big taillights and single muffler.

Some shots of the side, the first ones with closed doors and the others all open. Here you can see the side intakes and some details of the interiors.

And last but not least, this is my favourite part: the engine! I did my best to recreate it like the real one.

Summer holidays are finished, but fortunately I just received almost all of the missing parts I need to complete my "full black" 288 GTO, so stay tuned because I'll hopefully post some new shots in the very next days. Bye!

Hi Armaan and thank you for your precious suggestions! I had already saw Ryan's idea but I didn't use it because the shape of the GTO's intakes is more rounded. Anyway, I think that with Ryan's intakes my GTO would look better than now, so I'm planning to do some changes. Bye!

ferrari forever veramente bella mi piace lo stile lego creator.(cosiglio) pero' devi fare in modo di fare le tue creazioni di un solo colore tipo tutto rosso tutto nero ecc..comunque vai veramente bene ,,,bravo
