I built this in early May. I started it trying to make my first legoŽ recreation.
About this creation
I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hell followed close behind him. - Revelations 6:8
It was supposed to be the Hardy Daytona from FF7, and sadly I just didnt have the skills to pull it out. Regardless, inspiration still come from the Hardy, and similarities stop after the handlebars, and the blue canisters. What I'm was left with was this neat little motorcycle...with my own style put in there.
Initially the name was to be something snakelike, due to the snakelike appearance, but I decided not to, snakes have be done and done. Then I went to Mortis...The horse of Death(hence the quote, which i decided to just keep.) but it would need more bones for that, and really just doesn't fit.
So I just added an "L" to make it "Hardly Daytona"...Clever huh?

The OH SO comfortable iron bar fits your butt perfectly!! (it swivels too!)
My 1 bionicle piece finally came in handy!!

If you've seen my other creations, you know I have alot of Bley, and not alot of anything else...
Lots of apparent venting and airflow(Heat kills engines!!!)
It would probably help if I'd looked at a motorcycle engine...I'm not sad with it though.

My only gripe with this one, is its durability...it hardly playable...but makes a nice shelf decoration. Thanks for looking!

This is pretty cool,I like the seat section the best(mainly because thats the only part I recognize as a motorcycle, its kind of abstract).Just returning your comment, you know what I have never always said,a comment for a comment.....? |

Those are some nice greebs! It was interesting how you included the Bionicle piece, I really like it, I can't beleive you only have ONE though! Anyways, great creation, catchy build..Keep up the awesome builds!
Yeah it's funny, I really don't think I could have thought of a better solution for the seat, it fits the form perfectly. It was one of the pieces I got in a box I bought at a garage sale. They seem pretty useful, but at this point I'm staying away from buying them because most of my thoughts don't include the Bionicle...I just kinda stumbled upon using this. Thanks Alex. |
