About this creation

Pokemon Silver (and gold) partially inspired me, if you've played those games you've seen the sprout tower, tin tower, 'burned tower',... Anyway, those towers have a moving pillar inside, they say it protects the tower from earthquacks... Anyway, I figured my tower absolutely had to have such pillar, and so it has. (mine will not protect against earthquacks, I found out the hard way...)

One side of the Tower remained open, other wise you wouldn't get to see this view anyway :p

Soul Calibur 2 was also an ispiriment, for those that don't know, it's a fighting video game, each battle takes place on a mythic, legendary, ancient fantasy location.

I hope you like it, let me know

Cool. But what the heck is an "earthquack"?
a terrible natural disaster which tends to affect wiseacres more than others :P |

Ok, how the moving pillar works is because it isn't attached to the ground when an earth quake happens it doesn't shake as much at the rest of the structure. Because of the weight of it inertia holds it in place and so helps to stabilize the building.
Now that makes sense, it's still hard to believe they use it nowadays though, such pillar would be heavy and the structure holding it up in a tower must be strong enough to carry it, I think there are more efficient ways to protect from earth quake, Thanks for the info anyway |

"Anyway, those towers have a moving pillar inside, they say it protects the tower from earthquacks (yeah right)" it helps tall buildings to stay up they use it today.
no really, a moving pillar ? you should give me an example if you want me to actually believe that, or explain how that works |

When I saw the moving pilar inside the tower I wondered if you have taken it from Pokemon; then I read your explanation, I was right!
