This is my F-104G inspired jetfighter I made with a lot of parts from the 4402 designer set
About this creation
I recently bought the 4402 set and after I made the default speedboat I wanted to make something else. Since i'm playing flight simulators sometimes I came up with the idea of making a fighter jet. The F-104G was going to be my inspiration. I borrowed as least as possible amount of parts. Experts will see the wings are too long and the gigantic missile-like "things" on the side of each wing are missing, but that was a bit too much for me. Here are some pictures:


Here you can see the pilot in the cockpit.


This is the bottom of the plane with the landing gear out.


Here the bottom again, but with the landing gear retracted.


This is the retractable hook for landing on a deck ship.


Now how the front gear works: Here's the gear out.


To retract: open the clap,


push the wheels in (Important: the wheels have to be turned 180 degrees to fit inside).


Shut the clap and push the handle foward.


Here you can see how I used that piston part to make the gear.


Here's the rubber band which keeps it extracted and retracted.


Here is 1 of 2 missiles shown located under the wing.


Here is the air inlet for the jet engine.


And last but not least how I made the jet outlet.

Good effort, particularly as you restricted your use of parts. I like your arrester hook for landing on carriers!
