This is the mass produced version of the Alpha 1 colored blue. After a mere 5 months of testing it was rushed into production to quickly fill the ranks of most modern armies. Features: <ol> <li>1x High wield energy weapon </li> <li>1x Back mounted energy plant </li> <li>1x Energy Matrix shield (used in conjunction with the new HWEW system) </li> </ol> It has vastly improved armor over the Alpha 1 even though it uses the same basic skeleton. It features a recognizable head with advanced targeting systems. The "Ears" on the head house the communication systems. The cockpit has been redesigned to a more simple but just as robust enclosure. The Old Blue's hand systems have been redesigned as well for a more natural hand feel for the pilot over the A1's three finger design. The software has been totally overhauled as well with a newly designed neural interface system which renders the pilot completely unconscious transferring the pilots consciousness into the neural web through out the mech. This new interface makes for speedier reaction times and less of a "It's only a mech" mentality forcing the pilot to actually take precautions to preserve the mech as well as their own lives. Builder's Notes: A few things: 1. Yes I know the main picture is like that 2. Yes I know my camera sucks 3. This started out as a simple palette swap just swaping out the grey for blue but as you can see it turned into something much more cooler. I love how this came out and I'm proud of it.
