Skiht-3R Fighter
A fighter used by pirates and mercenaries.
About this creation
The Skiht-3R was originally produced as a military fighter-bomber. However, due to a lack of sales in the military market, the Skiht Aerospace Company put the 3R up for sale to anyone who could pay. It has since become a favourite of pirates and mercenaries. The Skiht-3R's weaponry varies depending on the owner, but stock units carry two ion rifles, and two RPGs (One of them fell off before I photographed the model, and i didn't notice until the MOC was in pieces, and the pictures up on Brickshelf.).

You can see the air intakes for the atmospheric engines here. When the fighter is in space, it uses ionic propulsion.

The side gives a good view of the landing gear.

Here's the bottom, with the landing gear deployed. Yes, I know there's a rocket-propelled grenade missing, I explained that above.

This is what the landing gear looks like folded up.

The hatch folds down to let the pilot out.

The warning band is there to let people know not to stand on the hatch.
