A fast, agile AEGAKS designed to guard convoys effectively.
About this creation

The AEGAKS-109-VRd "Rothak" was specifically designed to be a supply convoy escort. The M frames could barely keep up with their convoys at full speed, and would often get left behind when having to deal with ambushes. The Rothak can move with greater speed and keep pace.

The Rothak is a V Frame, similar in concept to the Geras. This is the Runner mode. Note how the leg design was borrowed from Solice. This was chosen for its speed, a vital component in the Rothak's function.

The Rothak mounts a SAW Pack, though the design is much improved over the 108's version. In runner mode, the SAW operates a turret system, with each weapon having a remarkable degree of axis rotation.

As with all subsequent AEGAKS, the pilot block is ejectable, but as with the other V frame, the powercell is not ejectable.

Note the heavily modified pilot block, designed for speed, yet heavily armored.

The alternate mode, Soldier mode, of the Rothak. Less imagination it may seem, but it folds neatly to form a humanoid form similar to the Solice.

The "wings of death", the highly effective SAW Packfolds neatly across the back in either mode when not in use, providing a valueable counter balance as well as a defensive and offensive assault system.

In Soldier mode, the weapons fold up underneath the arms as it did in the original concept as used with the Titan, granting the Rothak high marks for fire power.

A side by side comparison of the Rothak and the Solice.

A side by side comparison of the Rothak and the Geras.

The Rothak in runner form next to the Solice. Many troops have begun to call the Rothak's Runner form it's Puppy from, even though it moves more like a big cat.

In an odd sort of way, you might say the Rothak is the resultant child between the Solice and the Geras, as it draws on both designs very heavily.

I like the idea of an escape pod, brilliant!
Nearly all AEGAKS are equipped with the ejectable pilot block for the pilot's safe recovery. |

Very interesting AEGAKS, Jason. I like the "Puppy" Runner mode. It definitely looks incredibly fast. I would not want to fight one of these in close combat. |
