Mid Scale Fighters
Mid Scale Star Wars Lego fighters
About this creation

I decided to design some scale down Star Wars Craft very much like the Tie Advanced that was released with the Death Star set. I used the LDD software and as a result I was limited to the pieces and their colours that were available.

The Tie Advanced seen in the picture was made using the actual Death Star instructions. I also used it to help me with designing the Tie Fighter and Tie Interceptor.

The hardest one of all to make was the X-wing.

I do hope to someday actually make each one of these, though the price when I checked them was a little more than what I expected.

Below are alternate versions of the A-Wing, X-Wing and Y-Wing. Am oftern wondering if I should go with these ones instead.

The ones below are first attempt at designing the Y-Wing, The way they are lined up is the order in how it started out and the improvements I made when still trying to improve the look.

Quoting Colby Tonn I love these fighters and I am trying to recreate them. Do you have the ldd instructions available to share? Again, great mocs and I love the mid scale.
I got them on file somewhere but I need to find them. If I do I'm not to sure how or where to share them online.

Quoting JS Can Good work. The Rebel ships almost look CHIBI because of the cockpit. As far as being limited by pieces in LDD, you can unlock the Universe set which has almost all the pieces in any color. There are instructions floating around somewhere.
Would that be another LDD program other than the one downloaded from the official Lego sight, because thats the one I've been using?

Quoting Bahram the Great Good Job! Have you seen the mid scale millenium falcon and star destroyer sets? If not, I think those might interest you.
Actually I have, in fact I'm expecting the Millenium Falcon in the post. As for the Star Destroyer I'll probably wait till I get a better deal for it.
