Work in progress... hopefully when completed, it will be a 32x32 size diorama... feedback would be appreciated...

The rubble definately looks messy and like, well, rubble. I think that the mech looks good, too, but I'm having a hard time distinguishing it from the rubble. Maybe a little more clarity between the mech and the rubbish would be good.
I was thinking the same thing myself... going to try to improve that... thanks for the feedback ;) |

Hey just saw your comment on BK's Archangel and my Wolverine. About making those backgrounds: Its VERY easy. I use Microsoft Publisher, but similar things can be made in Word. You take your main photo. Save it on your comp. Then You open up Word, a blank document. Insert your photo onto the document. Adjust the page size so that there isn't any "fringe" (or just crop it out when all is said and done). Then, you add your graphics -- you can add text boxes, shapes, other small detail photos--anything you want. Then comes the fancy part: Save the document. BUT, instead of saving as a word document, you save it is a high-quality JPEG, GIF, or PNG image (You just click the drop-down menu where it says "save as" and select one of those). This binds all of the layers together in one photo. Ta da! |
