Unit RX-SSE Prototype
The RX-SSE is the newest prototype produced by my planet. Its main purpose is to serve as a last line af defense in the highly unlikely chance of an enemy defeating "all" of my other mobile suits. As of now he has a decent armament for for being a prtotype: including an interchangeable back attachment and 2 very nice melee weapons (if i do say so myself)
About this creation
Full pic

Here's a closeup of the top. Note the need of a head & neck upgrade

Here's melee weapon #1. Its more of a blunt smash-em-up type. Im still coming up with a name for it tho, probly somthing on the lines of butterfly axe or somthing.....any suggestions?

And here's melee weapon #2, a very heavy duty beam saber of sorts. It jus kind of came to me 1 day and I worked on it until I felt it was good enough (or that i felt it had more than a decent amount of pieces for a weapon lol)

Kewl guy sword pic

The best example of this being a prototype, note the obvious purple booster housing, and don't even get me started on the lack of detail pertaining to the actual jetpack lol

Yea......he really needs that neck

Cockpit closeup

Big intergallactic space travely rocket attachment......could really use some sprucing up

Plasma beam riffle, for those mid-distance targets

30mm gateling gun, for those annoying small fries, pesky missiles, and just about anything else it gets aimed at

The RX-SSE prototype in its entirety

Though its still a ways away from being 100% done, feel free to rate and comment as you see fit

p.s. any and all criticism is more than welcome

Aside From The Picture Quality, I Can See This Is Going Places, Can't Wait Till It Is Finished, If Not Already Done So. (I Just Stumbled Across This)

Quoting Mike Johnson The mech looks pretty darn good but I have to admit that I'm also having a hard time seeing some of the detail because of how dark the pictures are. Here's a couple of things I learned that you may want to try. First, make the pictures larger. The easiest way is to select the "Large" setting on the picture downloader. I do this myself and it really helps. Second use a white or light colored background (paper, blanket, whatever you have). This will bring out your mech instead of it blending with the surrounding too much. Third, try experimenting with different times of the day to see how much sunlight you need. Taking pictures in the dark requires you having all kinds of light sources and equipment that most of us, including me generally don't have. I'm no expert either. This is stuff I've picked up while learning to take photos myself. Hopefully it helps.
thanks for the comment and advice. I just recently took some pics of somemore of my creations (with a white background) and hope to get around to posting them.....today actualy

Nice mech, some nicer pictures, maybe a little SNOT work, and this thing would be great!

Quoting Hyun Chang For starters, the arms are WAAAAYYY too long (if those long things are arms. My vision's deteriorating,or its too dark to see.) the chest is pretty good, can do with some less bulkiness, and if you want to keep those arms(arms they look like to me) you should make the legs long enough to mach those arms(er...i think.) a good mech.
well since u took the time to point it out, i guess i should take the time to say tht the arms are actually an appropiate length, its the weapons and thier handles that make them appear so long. If u look closely, u can see were the arms/hands stop, and the weapons begin. average humans and humanoid mechs hands reach to about thier upper mid thigh, so umm yea.....thanks for viewing my Mech though

Cool stuff. I like the arm, it looks very bulky and strong. Perhaps larger legs though, but if thats what you were going for, then by all means go with the shorter leg look.

Very nice work on this. I see that you have really learned a lot from building the X-Suit. This suit is lightyears beyond that one. I particularly like the weapons and how you can see little bits of the structure beneath the armor plates. Very nice!
