First try at a somewhat realistic tank.
About this creation
The Light Tank-12 "Charon" was a versatile vehicle, having both decent firepower and able to ferry small squads across the battlefield. Due to it's relatively slow speed it was rarely used in open terrain. However it stood out in being quite effective in urban warfare, quickly and effectively ending riots and civilian uprisings. It's "nickname" Charon was earned for ending riots with minimum effort, Charon being, in Greek mythology, the ferryman to the underworld (the name also follows Ian's tradition of naming tanks after beings in Greek mythology)It is armed with a front mounted flamethrower (though it should be noted that machine gun variants were common as well), and a medium turret on top, although not particulary powerful it had an immpressive rate of fire.
Menacing front view.
Side view, nothing weird really....
Video game-esque backview.
Close up of the top.
My favorite part of the build, the turret. It originally had one barrel, but hey you know me always over-compensating >.>
Side armor things on the tank, I ran out of tiles, so I just added those flick missiles there, not as tacked on as I thought they'd look.
If you haven't noticed I used an... unorthodox (yeah let's go with that!) method to attach the tracks, here's how I did it for you fellow lazy bums. Actually I only used it because I don't have enough tracks to make a functional tank this big.
Partially finished interior, meh I just got lazy...

A squad confortably seated, more could fit if we used real tank commodities. Here you can see my friend's C.O.P sigfig.
Enjoy some random pics...
Autobots Squad roll out!
The 66th Fleet's Fleet Lord Antanas Ásynjur.
Ruuuuuuun!!!!!!
Did you know that...
...you can blame John Dawn for inspiring me to make a tank without working threads?
...this tank is for a big diorama me and my friends are working on?
...the flamethrower was originally going to be a machinegun?
...the turret is inspired by Gus Indo?
...this MOC got a cool number? (look at the URL)
...bien hecho, Johnson.

Hmm, very nice and smooth. The space inside the vehicle impresses me. For 23CC: cost 9/10, att 7/10, def 10/10. |

Yes, I know what it means. Yay! I'm not the only one weird enough to know what it means! Well it sounded cooler than Ases >.>

I particularly like the 'Millennium Falcon'-looking turret. Unintended reference, but hey, it looks cool.

Really nice, Juan! Too bad you can't roll the tank along and make "VROOOM" noises though...Well I guess you still can, but it might not have the same effect :P I particularly like the 'Millennium Falcon'-looking turret. |
