QSJ-71 Si-fi Biplane
This is the QSJ-71. Its what I class as “retro-sifi” as it is a biplane with lasers. Its on the verge of being “steampunk” but with no steam engine so couldn’t class it as steampunk. The QSJ-71 has two jazor bank guns towards the tip of the wings plus two rotary laser guns closer to the cockpit. I’m thinking of building a two seater with a rear gunner but that’s just in the thought process at the moment. Build info.. the QSJ-71 took about 15-20 hours to build. Shaping the fuselage took the most time. The cockpit is a bit tight and as of typing this the minifigure has no controls to fly the plane with!! 90% of all the things I build are studless so the wings let me down on this point (I’m working on that though) Things I don’t like about this build: wings not studless, landing gear wrong shape and size, cockpit to small and last, no rear gunner. Now, I need someone to build another “retro-sifi” biplane so I can have someone to dogfight with….any takers?? Oh, one last thing about this build….This is the first plane I’ve ever built…Enjoy and keep building. Thanks

Lots of firepower! I particularly like the rotary laser guns. Great techniques shaping the fuselage.
