Bismarck Float plane
I made the colors of the aircraft match the 1939 / 1940's. I know they did away with the biplanes in 1940s before the Bismarck left for her first and last operational cruise. I thought the biplane made the ship more true to the era. I had built a monoplane, but it didn't look right.
About this creation

This is a floatplane from the KMS Bismarck that I am finishing. I figured the scale on both the ship and plane is 1/48th. I used decals from one of my old plane kits which I had already built. I used regular black string for the wing and tail rigging.

Yes there was. I just chose a different float plane they used earlier. The other one didn't look as good to me.

I like the plane! It looks pretty. But wasn't there Arado AR196 used on Bismarck (http://www.bismarck-class.dk/technicallayout/aircraft/aircraft_scale_plans.html)?.
