First official preview of the upcoming newest project in the famous Chronicles of Mythada universe!!
About this creation
Christian Schlichting:Greetings there! I'm Christian Schlichting, the director, author, producer and almighty god of "BotB Origins:Tale of Tadith" and we're here on the set of its long-awaited Sequel "BotB Tales:Masks of Justice" for an exclusive preview. Brik:"Hey boss, can i have a break. We're making scenes since 4 days without sleep..." Christian Schlichting:"No, you and the others signed contracts, read them. By the way, let's take a view on the cast..."
After long weeks of casting, we found the best of the best minifigs of Lego City for the huge amount of characters and comparses in this miniseries.
The heroes...of course most of the newer Brotherhood characters which didn't get into the official Mythada story.
And all the Rest...
The eastern settlement
Most parts of the story is playing in the eastern settlement of the Rensval valley, so our designers (me&inspirations from Nufalak of Mythada) made a lot of buildings to make the city alive. Main source was this.
The standart design can be seen here.
A noble's house for some bigger interiors.
A classic background building.
The magic shop of Newt Schleb will have a scene, too. Probably, he's the only mage, alchemist and healer in the whole Rensval Kingdom, but also an important informant and spy for the Brotherhood.
The famous belltower of the eastern settlement. A very rich noble from Ferlon had spent it to the city. Also and important viewpoint for the guardians of the people. With the limited amount of parts, it doesn't really look like a tower yet, but i'll try to raise him by digital effects.
"DONG! DONG!", the speciality is, that there's no bell here. A heavy ironstick is swinging inside a crystal globe, defined by the angle of sunbeams the crystal's chemical structure changes and can make beautiful sounds at special times. Definately some kind of magic is in there, but nobody knows, who did it.
Yes,yes, i know, NO DRAGONS in Mythada. But if you have build a tower you have to show a fight against a dragon with. Aside, why shouldn't i reuse the structure for future Legonia mocs?
This is a map of just a part of the settlement. It's the quarter where the episodes will play. I made it to improve the city scenes and giving them a logical environment.
Many other stuff for city scenes.
That's a rebuild of Nuf's troll prison, that appeared in CoM:Severed. It doesn't look that great but this time, it's winter or so. Also i think, the destructed style fits better to the ancient building. Hope, the basic design can be remembered.
Vehicles used in my comic.
It's early in the third age and the Rensval Valley would be a dangerous and unlawful place if there wouldn't be a group of vigilants giving justice back to the people. After Jin'tak, the leader of the Brotherhood of the Blade, disappeared, master Brik and a few others take care for the eastern settlement. But peace never hold long.
A brutal series of serial murdering afraids the city of the nobles. But the guards don't care. Tadith, the man with the hat, is sent by the brotherhood to investigate. Soon he meets the new mysterious villain:
Silverface, who calls himself the new overseer, judges people who wronged others. But he does after his view of justice and without caring for any tenets. Naturally, he and the honorable brotherhood become enemies and only one side will win.
But who is this man really and what dark secrets about an evil menace are hided behind his mask...?"
Quoting Nufalak of Mythada
"Coming summer 2010"... I dunno about you, but my summer is more than half over. How's the post-production coming? :)
Some have to do a job. I'm pretty sure that i can start to puplish begin of August. I'm workin on the whole series at once to avoid long breaks between them and the quality level is very high this time.
Quoting BrickTrooper -
hey could I be in it since i wasn't in the Mythada series?
Nope. Castings for quest starrings are done long ago in the Brotherhood group. The series is mainly done (postproduction now), no space for additional scenes. Aside, your fig doesn't even have a name or any background i could work with. Sorry.
Now I can see why this has been taking so long. You have definately put a TON of effort into it, and Im very impressed. Youve done Mythada justice, it really feels like its a part of the world I created. It also seems like this will fit nicely into the background of Mythada without messing up anything from the main plotline I made. Great job!
