Dune Chaser

On a self-inflicted challenge over the weekend, I decided to see what I could build using only my limited selection of brown bricks. I put this together in about three hours. It uses less than fifteen non-brown elements only for the engine and rockets.
About this creation

Armed with two 30mm cannon and two homing rockets, the Dune Chaser is an excellent counter to bombers.

Considered one of the fastest interceptors in the galaxy, the DC can go from 0-340m/s in 'the blink of an eye'.

Incredibly cheap to build because of its light frame, the DC equips the outlying colonies and outposts of the 18th DSF.

For those of you who might have seen this yesterday during my botched upload attempt (it took an hour and a half to figure out it wouldn't upload properly, then it wouldn't let me delete it...) I apologize.

Apparently, Mocpages and Mondays don't mix very well. That's the second time I had trouble with Mondays.

We DO like it! Nothing like a good "Color" chalenge to test the creativity center of the brain...and this one came out pretty sweet!
