Lego billionaire Brickard Ransom had the 'Pride of Wembley' specially built to take him and his friends to the forthcoming LIFA Worlds Cup! (That's Lego Intergalactic Football Association)

About this creation

Any guesses which team Brickard will be supporting?

The 'Wembley' is based on a light commercial freighter, but refitted as a luxury space yacht.

The wing pods house the engines, life support, and all other essential systems, leaving a spacious interior for football fans to celebrate (or commiserate...)

Brickard had the engines upgraded to give that extra bit of acceleration after traffic lights - don't want to miss the kick off!

Lifting the small handle on the roof unlocks the opening cockpit.

Here's Brickard himself in the pilot's seat. Nothing beats taking a new toy for a spin!

The swivelling pilot's chair is an ergonomic triumph with adjustable back and headrest and (of course) a cup holder. Remember Brickard - don't drink and drive!

'Come on in!' invites Brickard from the passenger gangway. Unfortunately at this point my camera threw a wobbly, so I can't show you the interior featuring armchairs, TV and minibar. Bother.

This colourful & detailed MOC deserves more attention. The cockpit is brilliant, with space for the seat swivel and storage for oxygen tanks etc.. The seat is is great, adjustable plus a cup holder. Other details I like include the lighting on the steps. As with all your MOCs, this spaceship looks really solid and fun to swoosh & play with.

Thank you very much! I also think starfighters etc. are overdone, fun though they can be to build. I guess we have Star Wars to thank for that (as well as TLG's 'conflict = play value' policy). Thanks for my first 'I like it' too! :-)
