Modifying the 10001 Meteoliner
About this creation
I made a layout entirely with RC track to utilize the cross over track segments, however I did not like the RC trains. I decided to modify this set as well as several others, using the RC car bodies as passenger cars.




This one was fairly simple to do, I used 1x2 plates to mount the battery and IF transmitter.





Then I redesigned the top of the train so the transmitter was visible.




I use this train car as the rear car so that the conductor can be seen "operating" the train.

this is sooo great. I was meaning to do the same thing with the metroliner, but you now showed me how. i don't like rc either, but have to midify because I only have got rc. Once again, great job :) !!!
