About this creation
Imperial Ground Forces

This is my first MOC I ever took pictures of. I wanted to make something simple in the style of set The LEGO Company released in the early 90's. So this limited me to what I could actually do, I wanted to make it feel like a Pirate set that never existed. Its almost the Imperial Guard equivalent of Western's 6706 Frontier Patrol.

Some have suggested that the horse is out of place, however I disagree. Horses were introduced to the New World by Europeans so there's no reason they shouldn't make an appearance in the pirate theme.

So may aim is to create sets that incorporate pieces (including the newer ones) that weren't originally in the pirate theme, yet do it in such a way that my creation isn't too far removed.

Does not look like it's a MOC. I guess it's really NOT a MOC.
