I decided to try my hand at some post-apoc and utilize my newfound mech building skillz. Enjoy, rate, and comment!
About this creation

The front. Dur-de-dur. During the initial design prcess, the armor flaps on either side of the cockpit coupled with the longer cannon I originally had in place of the quad-gun made it look like some kind of demonic robot elephant, an impression I did not want. I think I solved that, though.

Side shot. The hardest part about building this walker was the legs. At first I wanted to make two different legs, but I couldn't manage to build them the same length without making them look VERY similar, so I just duplicated the first one.

I also wanted them to be more, um, bare and scrappy-looking, or whatever. But hey, this is a great first attempt, right?

The cockpit was a real pain to build. What with all of the bars and fold-away straps, it's tough to sit the guy in there.

Here's what it looks like opened up.
