Mary Jane, an 18yr old girl, a child of nature. Born to a devout christian father who owned the village mill. Like many young girls her age she started to practice herbs and potions. Caught in the act by her unforgiving father, she was sentenced to death with no remorse. Burnt alive at the stake and buried in a hidden grove, her soul never did rest in peace. Her grave can be found in Loon Lake Cemetary, but many mysterious death have occured there, from her legendary curse! Who knows, but written upon her grave stone reads the words: 'Beware my friends as you pass by, as you are now so once was I, as I am now soon you will be, prepare my friends to follow me'

Thankyou for all your comments!!!
I build the houses seperatly, then I connect a jumper plate to the bottom corner of a house then posistion it at the angle I want. Then I lift the house off and lay tiles on the area that the house will cover, then place the house on top and and the plants and folidge. Very simple |

magnificent, this is the best medieval village i ve ever seen!
if there is one thing i would have done differently is the square well!
there are some parts to make it round,
it would have looked better,
but other than that, this is perfect!
i really like the background story,
as when you put so much effort in a moc like that,it deserves it!
hope you create a contemporal city someday,
since i m into that, and you re an inspiration,
a model,and brickmaster!
i m working on my skills to be worth!

Hmm, I could have sworn I commented on this on Monday, but I see no comment. Here we go again. I am awestruck by the level of detail on this and I must say, the offset houses really give this a “real” feel. Unlike Matt, the burning girl reminds me of Joan of Arc, so I’m good with it. Cheers! |

Once again I am floored by the quality of this MOC. I saw the early WIP pics on FLICKr and was really looking forward to this piece. The layout and greenery is exceptional not to mention the buildings, and figs. Keep cranking out this kind of work and you are well on your way to being a popular Pirate AFOL (if you already aren't) |

Way to go buddy! I thought you had been busy fishing and playing guitar to crank this out. Lovin the buildings, especially the large one with shingle roofing. I cant quite make out the colour of the pond tiles, are they dark green?
The foliage is great and loving the stream and action. Even down to the well and wagon, all details have been thoroughly built.
Well done.
I am so getting back into Castle after this Western kick ends ;) |
