Historical Databank: Year:2045 Occurence: Supremacy Wars The Solar System is dominated by three main powers- Earth men, Martians, and the Saturnians. The three are known as the Solar Alliance, and they are at peace with one another. However, a foreign power has emerged: The Zykirian Empire, a long chain of systems in the Andromeda Galaxy. The Zykirians are quite courteous among themselves, but discovering the Solar Alliance released a warlike quality among all Zykirians. War was inevitable, and when it came, Zykirians swept through the entire Outer Colonies and took the high ground: the Asteroid Belt. From it they divided Earth forces and Martians from the United Republic of Saturn. Surging toward Saturn, they were met with fierce, all but suicidal resistance. Saturn had its back against the wall, with no way out. The only thing standing between Zykiria and Saturn was the Rings. The following is a view of the first counter offensive mounted by UMC troops, Operation All Hopes. Saturnian soldiers fight on a particularly large piece of space rock, alongside Unit Victor, a detachment of U.S. Marines that were learning to operate a new machinegun with URS engineers.
