Did you know that the Chinese(and Koreans) were the first to make mines, sea mines, rockets, grenades, flamethrowers, and firearms? |

The Germans provided no material to the Japanese. Other than the Kika (a copy of the Me-262,) there was no other equipment used by the Japanese in WWII. They were self sufficient. Delta, They are a cylinder, not just a disc. Stop playing COD. The S-Mine had a pressure activated trigger, not a booby trap like Japanese defenses. That's another thing, the Japanese used booby traps moer than mines. |

you forgot the fact that bouncing bettys are a little flatter than what is shown, and you should also show WHAT caused the betty to go off, such as grappeling hooks attached to the device that shoot out, grab foilage, and if anything disturbs the surrounding land/ground, then BOOM goes the head. other than that, nj. |

Great, these mines seem to be real popular (as a matter of fact a vig with a bouncing betty won MOTD just a few months ago, first WWII MOC I ever saw as MOTD) Great build, the Betty is cool, but I just can't help but say this:
The Bouncing Betty was a German mine, and as far as I know the only place Marines operated (or the only place there were jungles for that matter) was in the Pacific. Its a minor detail, so nice vig! =) I see what you mean, but what makes you think the Japenese did not use them? They were allies right?!

Quoting Ryan Durant I hate to ask, but what's a bouncing Betty? It's a type of land mine designed to 'bounce' upwards and explode at wasit height. Nice build here, by by the way. I like the look of the plants, as well as the soldier's expression. |
