Anyways, the Stoopid Monkeys have a... for lack of a better term, stealth sub now. It's shaped like a shark to make it sneakier. See, if it's underwater and it looks like a shark, it must be a shark. Plus, everything's worse with sharks. Moving along, the sub is captained by none other than Captain Redplume, of the Royal Exploratory Marines. It's the end of the world as we know it, indeed.

The sub itself is a Type-42 'Sneaky Bastard' stealh submarine, and has been in use by the R.E.M. for two years. The sub has three missile tubes each loaded with a single subnuclear Ballistic Assault Missile, or B.A.M. It is propelled by two Shinohara Dolphin class engines, each in an individually mobile and self contained engine nacelle. It is capable of reaching of total speed of 7 knots.
The sub has received a total of four design awards, all in the category of 'Worst Design of the Year'. From the same magazine. In the same year.

Built for the Lego Military Group's Annual Contest, in the category of Stealth Vehicle. This is probably the silliest entry in the entire contest...

Y'know, this is my first build to qualify as 'underwater'... That makes it special.

Yes, folks, Captain Redplume has returned. Our experts believe this was his first command, but they also told us Elvis had been abducted by the Frogs to perform at fancy parties.

I'd like to thank the Le Miserable sound track for helping me complete this oddball creation. What? It's a good play! And besides, Javert has some great songs.

Here's a nifty little side view for you. There aren't too many 'overview' shots for this creation, because it's mostly just a continuation of my love affair with this shark piece. This'll be hard to explain to the frogs...

'Tell me quickly what's the story, who saw what and why and where, let him give a full description, let him answer to JAVERT!

Here you can see the sensors suite, which has some very important parts. First off, we have the 'Enemy-ship-detector-O-matic' and the 'Moving-picture-record-O-matic'. As you can see, the Monkeys are even worse with names than I am. Which is really saying something...

And apart from Javert, you have the revolutionaries and 'Do You Hear the People Sing'. That is one hell of a song.

These are the ship's not-so-speedy parts. At any rate, they make it sink a little faster in the proper direction.

Well, moving away from the topic of epic musicals, anyone here ever seen Death Note?

These are the missile tubes. They each store a single B.A.M. missile, and can only be fired on the surface. There's a reason for this, but most monkey captains don't figure it out until they've sunk their ship (Well, sunk it without it being able to rise) a few times.

I have to say, it was a great anime. Some really interesting character interactions, and an awesome plot. I highly recommend it!

The shark shaped hull, which is the key component to the sneakiness of the design. Theory: If it looks like a shark, it must BE a shark. Actuality: Hey, that shark's got engines. Let's shoot it, and sell the engines!

*Ahem* well... Anyone seen Iron Man 2 yet?

Here we see the assembled crew: Cap'n Redplume and his first mate, Bobo. Yes, Bobo CAN fit inside the sub. That's where he is for most of these shots, actually.

If not, you really need to. It's a really good movie. Not as good as the first, but still pretty good.

And finally, we see the sub in action. The target: A lifeboat full of frogs. The probability of success: 32.57848758%.

Thank you all! @Mudskipper: And you ain't seen nothin' yet! @Finn: Not that I know of. You'd have to ask Karf Oolhu of Flickr about that part. @Delta: I'm relatively certain the Monkeys aren't using a live shark as the basis for the sub. I could be wrong though...

what's with that!?!??! Iron man 2 is as good as the first! but the frogs will go boom as well as the stoopid monkies because Cap'n Dumbsub here is gonna blow the shark up or just himself... but is the shark made of metal or sharkskin? (deathnote is a pretty good anime, isn't it?) NJ ribberts!

You can always overestimate a monkey with a harpoon gun and dynamite. @Garth: Yup. @Waffles: Well, that's a distinct possibility. But stranger things than the monkeys winning have happened before... @Shifu: You bet. He's quite fashion forward, especially with that designer hat and scarf combo.
