Here I come with another build that is not a mecha. This time I tried to make some kind of spacecraft or airplane. So here it is, the first prototype AT - 001. I tried to experiment little bit with the bricks, to make something different from other airplanes here on Moc Pages. It turned out to be some kind of combination between airplane and helicopter.Check it out and leave your comments and opinions :-) thanx

About this creation

The base of airplane are two long exoforce bricks wich
I turned upside down. It resulted in a nice gently
rounded bottom part of airplane.

Here you can see two big engines with turbines inside.
I designed engines like two fat wings.

I had a problem with the cabin and nose but I think I
menaged to do it in original way.
The front part reminds me little bit on A-10 tunderbolt.

I think the cockpit and nose could use a little more work. I like the rest of it, though, especially the oddly-angled lift fans on the tail.

Quoting El Barto ! I'd have to disagree, I prefer the red in the nose, it ties into the dragonfly wings drawing the eye towards the tail and the directional rotors. Kind of distracts from the monster engines. But I was curious if the canopy from the S-11 would fit on there somehow. Is it too tall?

Yeah warthog is the same airplane as a-10 tunderbolt so we thought at the same airplane. It's hard to enclose the pilothouse because there is no "glass" brick so small to enclose it. Maybe with that new glasses from atlantis lego serial but I don't have such a brick. I like bulky wings so I'm gona leave them that way - thanx for your opinion man, I'm glad that you like it :-)

looks very sleak and futuristic, nice work, those inner engines in the big wings are original. yeah the nose and weapon makes it look like the A-10
