The Bastion of Hope, a medical officers dream cruiser. It has all of the latest medical technology available, along with a compliment of onboard research facilities.
About this creation
The Bastion of Hope is a medical cruiser, capable of planetary rescues or evacuations in the event of disasters. It is completely defenseless in the sense that it has no offensive or defensive weaponry, however, it does boast a very impressive shield and detection array comparable to that of any high security facilities on either side of this war. It has a hardened reinforced hull capable of withstanding almost all types of projectiles the enemy can muster.
Up top is an over head view of the ship
Front View
Here is a view of the Bridge section/emergency evacuation shuttle, Pix of the shuttle are to come in a short while.
Three different views of the rear section and the extremely advanced sensor systems spires. Once the sensors detect any type of possible threat, the system raises all of the ships shields to maximum. The raising of the ships full shields only takes a few seconds, this is to ensure the survivability of the ship, the crew and any passengers onboard.
Side view, if you notice closely, there are what appear to be seven gun ports, but for this version of cruiser, all fourteen ports (seven on each side) have been converted to emergency evacuation pod launchers.
This section of the ship is only accessible only by the highest ranking members of the 1st S.F. Details of this section maybe released in a pending comic if been slowly writing.
The Bastion of Hope in all its glory

Wow. For a med ship, this thing looks pretty kick-butt. Nice job with the shape of this one. My only complaint is that the top hull looks a bit too plain. But that's just me. Anyways, great job!
Well I agree with you 100% about the top part of the ship, its a detachable emergency shuttle craft, inspired by the starship enterprise from the movie Star Trek Generations, i was already planning a new version of the top portion probably since i finished the whole ship. I'll unveil the new version in my destroyer version of this ship, the U.N.E. Vanguard. |

Great work! The finest medical ship of the U.N.E. is in your hands. Use it wisely, and I hope (Pun not intended) that you get the right amount of comments you deserve! 5/5! |
