The Flood

The foul parasite known as the Flood is a terrifying species that survives by feeding off the corpses of fallen enemies. The Flood was powerful enough to defeat even the mighty Forerunners.
About this creation

This is the infection form. It is the basic flood form and "infects" once living creatures in order to gain a more powerful stance as a combat form.

The carrier form carries developing infection forms and safely transports them to a host, where it detonates in an effort to kill the desired host.

The human combat form is the result of a human being infected by an infection form.

The brute combat form is surprisingly weak considering its host species.

The elite combat form is the most deadly of the combat forms, with the power shields still functional.

Drones don't have a combat form because they can't be infected.
