My custom STAR DESTROYER!
Thanks for checking out my modified Star Destoyer! Probably close to 1000+ pieces of additional detail inside and out.
About this creation
Lots of extra detail added to modified outer hull.

Alot of free-form filler detail along the sides.

Added detail to back engine area.

Complete re-design of top, bridge tower and scanning globes.

Scanning globes... (What were those ludicrous pieces provided with the original kit.. moons??)

Quoting Jay Rhum Aaaaaah! A childhood dream! But I always hesitated to take some Lego official models; I find they lack of details, in general... Very nice veissel! ;-) Oups! You might have forgotten to rate my sub! Could you come over again? http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/252434
Yes, the official LEGO release of this model was very lacking in detail! My particular focus for modifications was the mid-section (between the upper and lower hull). That area really needed a lot of additional 'meat' and filler (especially around the front of the ship). And the bridge/tower section of the ship I nearly completely redesigned, with particular emphasis on the 'globes' (the kit pieces are a joke). I was most happy with my modifications to the upper hull (the 'indented' areas were completely redesigned).. see the photo that is looking down at the ship.

Quoting Demolition Dummy Nice. Do your modifications add any length?
A very small amount of length was added as a result of the modifications to the back edges around the engine area. I was a slight modification to the surrounding outer edges of the entire ship, which resulted in a small amount of additional lenght to the front 'tip'. Over all.. maybe an inch or so... not much.
