The P-51-B-5 "Razorback" housed a 1380 HP Rolls Royce Merlin engine designed by the British. A joint work between the USA and Great Britain, the P-51B with the Rolls Royce engine, outperformed the Spitfire and Bf-109 considerably. The unique laminar flow design of the wing by the USNACA reduced turbulence, therefore reducing drag, increasing speed and range. Nearly 15,000 P-51's were built and it scored almost 5,000 enemy planes, making it the plane with the most kills of the war. The Mustang soon became one of the world's elite (1337) fighter with its impressive top speed of 708 km/h. Invasion stripes were oprdered to be removed from the top of the wings and fuselage in order to conceal the planes a bit more.
A nice build, had a lot of fun making it, I love planes, they have the best sound to them EVER. Rolls Royce engine ftw.
First to spot the four "funny things" gets to be shared a cool and 1337 video.

Cool creation, it is really nice with all these moving parts, like rotor and rudders. The shape is also very accurate! Awesome work! |

Don't worry about that Braden Priddy kid that stole your MOC. We know about it and his name is on our "list" and the post has been deleted. If he does something like this again, let us know. ~ Chris. |
