Studless Tree
My first go at a studless creation. The white on the tree branches is snow, as well as the white on the ground.
About this creation

My first go at a S.N.O.T. creation. While it may look simple, you wouldn't believe how long it took to get the tree trunk the right way! As usual, feel free to rate and comment!

some more shots.

the base. not much to see here.

UPDATE!!

I modified the base of the MOC slightly so now instead of empty ground, there is now a small weapons rack and a custom paratrooper in a CA-5C2 (Cold Assault) armor suit with Alpine Camouflage(with a custom decal; notice the backpack if you can see it.).

The weapons rack, with two close-range Assault rifles.

Note how the base of the weapons rack and the trooper's legs are slightly sunk into the ground. This was deliberate, as I wanted them to look like they had sunk slightly into the snow, like in real life.

The paratrooper, waiting for a patrolling enemy to come around the corner, so he can resort to primitive violence and make red snowballs.

He likes snowballs. Especially red ones (preferably not using Phipson's blood.)

UPDATE 2 !!!!

I've added an enemy soldier, whose footprints you can see.

The soldier, oblivious to the danger around the corner.

CA trooper.

The footprints.

Quoting M1C4H . Wow this is one impressive tree...altho it does need(in my opinion) some thing else...the update with the CA trooper was a start but I think that it might need somelike rocks or another sort of detail. BUT other than that this is awsome. 5/5 -M1C4H
Don't worry, I'll soon upload a further update with an enemy trooper.

Hey great job on the tree. Like John Moffat said, it isn't entirely snotted but hey, that's what most of my mocs are like. With snot I think you can only get better. The ammo rack is pretty creative too, and it was really complimented by the great minifig choice. Good luck with your future builds! ~Waff

Quoting Leda Kat Wow, that's one nice looking tree! Love the simple effect of the white tiles creating the snow on the tips it really completes it fully. Nicely done indeed. I have no skill whatsoever with building nature! I am envious of this tree!
Thanks. At a friends house a while ago, I built an awesome-looking tree with a platform and nets and stuff on it. Sadly, it was before I gained the benefit of MOCpages and it is now in pieces.

Quoting John Moffatt Technically, It's not SNOT, as all the studs are still upwards. HOWEVER it's one heckuva studless tree. =D
Thanks. I'm only new to MOCpages so I don't know everything about SNOT and all that. Isn't SNOT like when all the bricks making up the base are laid sideways?
