About this creation
2010 Mocie Awards Red Carpet Preshow

Live, from the LIU's Gungan Theatre, it's EntertainMOC Tonight’s coverage of the "2010 Mocie Awards”!

Doog: "That's right! We're here at LIU's Gungan Theatre in the sprawling city of Lacunar Urbs. I'm your host for tonight's events, Terrance "Doog" McDoogal."

Doog: "A huge crowd has assembled here, and they're all looking forward to seeing some of MOCpages' 'stars'. I use that term lightly..."

Doog: "Unfortunately, some of MOCpages' 'stars' have used the rear entrance and we won't be seeing them today. However, I think we'll get a glimpse of a few of them."

Doog: "Shall we begin? I think I see our first guest, the honorable Mark Kelso!"

Doog: "Uh...wow, Kelso. What are you wearing?!?"
Kelso: "It's Gucci."
Doog: "That's not quite what I meant. I mean, why are you wearing a dress?"
Kelso: "Oh! Well, Mr. Pig says it makes me look pretty."

Doog: "Mr. Pig?"
Kelso: "Yeah, I've moved on from sheep. Pigs are less hairy, although their teeth are a little sharper. You have to take the good with the bad."
Doog: "Uh...yeah. Thanks Kelso...and Mr. Pig."

Doog: "Speaking of pigs, it's Officer Chris Phipson, who apparently decided to ignore the dress code and wear his uniform."

Phipson: "Watch the pig talk Doog. I know how lax the LIU's laws are for police officers. I could shoot you right now."
Doog: "Uh sorry sir."
Phipson: "Nah, I'm just kidding. Besides I have to save my bullets for the after party. Some of the chicks really struggle."
Doog: "Ooh, good idea. So why did you ignore the dress code?"

Phipson: "Well, I figured if Shannon Ocean could wear his Australian Tux, I could get away with wearing whatever I wanted."

Doog: "Wait, I thought this guy was Shannon Ocean?"
Shannon Young: "Sigh. If I would have worn my Australian Tux, people would finally be able to tell us a part once and for all. I didn't know they made censor boxes that small Ocean."

Doog: "I'm now here with the creator of Glomshire Knights, Dennis Price. Dennis, I see you have also ignored the organizers' dress code."
Price: "Yep!"
Doog: "Why the spear?"
Price: "I heard Phipson was bringing his gun. There was no way I was coming unarmed. Besides, there's no better way to get the beer vendors attention."
Doog: "Uh, I don't think there is going to be beer vendors here."
Price: "Wait. What? Why am here then?"

Doog: "Uh-oh. It's Lee Jones. We were given strict instructions to put 100% censorship on Mr. Jones. Well, it was nice to see ya. Who's next?"

Doog: "Oh look, it's the rest of the 2010 MOCie Awards staff. We have Moodswim, Dylan B, Wes Pitter, and Emperor Ludgonious. Thanks guys for donating all your time to help with the awards. I can't believe you're doing it for free."

Ludgonious: "Ha. Not free. Did you forget who I am?"
Moodswim: "Yeah, you wouldn't believe how much bribe money flows around this event."
Pitter: "We couldn't let Phipson and Kelso have all the fun...and money."
Dylan: "Wait! Money? When were you guys going to cut me in?"

Doog: "I'm now joined with some of the Nominees for Best New Guy/Girl, Mister Bones, Hans Dendauw, and Leda Kat. We're glad to have you guys...."

Doog: "Wait! Why are you guys running away? I know I can be an abrasive interviewer, but come on!"

Doog: "Hold on folks! We seem to have some type of development. Everyone is running for their lives. Only Mister Bones and myself are still standing here."
Bones: "I'm a skeleton. The only thing I really fear is dogs."

Doog: "What could be causing all this chaos?!?"

POP! POP! POP!
Phipson: "Take that Mr. Pig! Kelso is all mine, now and forever."
Doog: "Uh...it appears Officer Phipson just shot and killed Mr. Pig. Oh the drama!"

Doog: "Wow. Kelso looks pretty upset. Mr. Pig looks, well, dead, and Officer Phipson is looking a little crazy. And wait, is that Dennis Price?"

Price: "There's no beer, but a least we can have some Pork Kebabs now."

Doog: "I've been some weird places, but this tops it all. Seriously. These guys are a bunch of weirdos. Well, I'm not getting paid enough to put up with this anymore. Doog out."

DUDE! The Australian Tux gag is killing me...I think I pulled a laugh muscle on that one! I'll catch up with you again after the Paramedics are through with me. (and Mark...Johnny wants to know...can we have our pig back now?)

I'm surprised we saw Phipson at all...given how much he likes to use the rear entrance. Anyway, I couldn't have imagined a better red carpet ceremony, chock full of violence, innuendo, and smack - God love ya! Really nice MOCage as well. Now let's see what kind of mayhem the show brings us!

Quoting Chris Phipson ... One question though... If I were to get in on the BBQ action with Mr. Pig ...
May I suggest roasting the whole pig? http://chicago.grubstreet.com/lechon.jpg

Brilliant, brilliant, BRILLIANT! Thanks for taking this project on my friend, you really knocked it out of the park here! One question though... If I were to get in on the BBQ action with Mr. Pig, would that constitute cannibalism? Great post sir! You ROCK! ~ Chris.

Funny as ever! But when you "boxed" Lee, I didn't see a reflection from the red carpet brick. So was he invisible? How did you do the whole set anyways? Could you do a behind the scenes of how you built it all?

Thanks for the comment, but there isn't anything too terribly difficult with the build, so I'm not sure a behind the scenes is in order. Most of it is just brick on brick with a snot red carpet and snot writing. Besides, I already tore it down.
Quoting Dennis Price Now I need to see if I have that dark grey helm for the old sigfig . . .
I have tons of extras from when I was big into castle (Pre-MOCpages) if you really need one.

I say it couldn't be done much better than this! Totally hilarious stuff presented in a terrific MOC. Doog as our emcee, a cast of thousands, and pulled pork barbecue -- yum! When Phippy showed up with a gun, I knew there was going to be trouble. In real life, he only gets the one bullet. Mr. Pig, we hardly knew ye (Well, Kelso knew ye better than any of the rest of us would want to). Now I need to see if I have that dark grey helm for the old sigfig . . . but first I'm off to cast my votes!

Fantastic build here, Emperor. It's a great pre-show of what is to come in the nearby future. Great use of humor and mini-fig apparel. By the way, I accept cash, paypal, lego and personal checks for my cut. : ) -Dylan

Quoting Garth Danielson Pretty darn silly. Nice marque. Sad about that pig. Still it might have been better than what would have happened to him after the show. You can't wash that off. I know I'd prefer the bullet to a ride in Kelso's car. Especially when he's in a dress. Don't tell him, but that pig, he had no taste. At least until they cooked him. Ummm! Bacon. It's not just a nickname. see ya. garth

OK, my comment has crashed twice....crazy slow pages. This is great! Funny as all Hades it is! The censor box bit was genius, very funny bits. Bones and Hans look sweet in those tuxes and Leda is looking pretty good in that Egyptian outfit! Heath and Leo must have gone in the backdoor, they like it like that! Cheers!

All the characters in this Preshow are fictional. The people they represent are much different in real life. They are all great people, except Phipson. Nah, him too.
