Quoting ImLost =(
Nice work Gerry. I love the way you made the computer mouse too!
I've never had a colonoscopy but I once had a bronchoscopy... yeah, I was pretty freaked out!
I'm curious, are you planning to incoporate this MOC into an actual LEGO building or leave it as a stand-alone diarama? Anyways, good work!
Thanks a lot. I've gotten into a stage where I am building almost everything on 16x16 base plates. In Japan, (almost) everything is compartmentalized into standard sizes, and then those compartments form the basic unit of building. In a way, Japan is the ultimate Lego set. Since I am trying to capture the essence of my daily life here, modular pieces work best.
There is also a long-standing Japanese artistic tradition of modular units which can stand alone. If you visit a good castle with lots of painted panels, such as Nijo Castle in Kyoto, the panels assembled make a great picture, but each individual panel is composed with it's own inner harmony. It mirrors the Japanese concept of "wa", balance within leads to balance without.
So, in a long-winded answer to your question, the clinic is meant to work either as a stand alone diorama, or as part of a larger work. Thanks for your interest.
