LE SUPERBE French 74 gun ship of the line.
About this creation

MORE PICTURES ONLINE WITH BRICKSHELF
This is my next project. It is a third rate French ship with 74 cannons. I choose to build this ship because not only do I have a lot of Lego Imperial sailors, but also because every model I referenced, I found that the ship remained without color, just all wood. Which would make it an interesting build.
comparison my MOC to the LEGOŽ 6285
- Height of MOC approximately 19 bricks or 7 1/2 inches (not measuring the masts)
- Height of black seas barracuda approximately 15 bricks or 6 inches (not measuring the masts)
- Length of MOC approximately 90 studs
- length of barracuda, still havent counted.
My inspiration to build
LE SUPERBE

I agree with Atlin, my was blown to pieces when I saw it on the main page, but then, I saw you're page. Now to your moc, the overall shape is good, but it needs a lot of details mate. anyhow, congratz on motd :) |

I thought this was epic but when i found out the main pic was not lego I was disappointed. Change your main pic to lego! |
|
|
It's pretty good, but.. um, I'm not going to explain it when it's posted under me, so look right there.
I found the main pic very misleading, I thought that was the real thing but no, it wasn't..
Maybe next time add a pic of your own model instead of a real life one? |
|
|
mmmm, the proportions are not right, you made a very long ship but very thin also, if you would really want to make an accurate replica you should make costum hulls or concentrate more on the shape, Let me show you some examples of ships that look a lot better like the real thing; http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/606 and http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/165307 let these ships inspire you |

Epic winner! |

Ah, this is alright. But I think you failed to capture the ship of the lines majestic grace. Also, the masts are to short. 3.5/5 I Overall, a fair Moc though. CHANGE THE MAIN PIC. It's not Lego! |

This is finally something worthy to be called MOCD. Nice work, but I'd like to see you add some more pictures to MOCpages so people do not have to follow the link. -Dylan |

Congrats you became Moc of the day dude! Yeah it looks very superb and very heavy. I saw you other creations too! Referred to others you are a really patient and ambitious builder. |
|
|
I find it wrong to display a non-brick model in the first place, and totally wrong to have it posted as MOTD. Take it away! |
