Quoting Lego Fire Museum Inc. Welcome to MOC pages. You seem to have emerged well from the Dark Ages. These first two trucks are very well done. You say that you are inspired by Steve Asbury. I think that your trucks are more realistic than his since they are better proportioned and the wheels aren't sticking out of the sides. Where Asbury blows most people away is the photos of his trucks. He has a great looking background, perfect lighting and takes terrific photos. Your photos are good; well lit and the neutral background does not take away from the trucks. I look forward to seeing more of your fire apparatus.
Thanks for your kind words. They really encouraged me to continue making more! It's nice to see a fellow 8-wide builder!

Probably for now, the firestation will just be a boxed set. I might/will probably merge two sets to sweet it up. But for now my mocs are focussing on my daily life in Japan, and all of the little things I interact with here. I've got a clothing store, a clinic, a sushi shop and a parking lot on the go. All modular, all meant to fit into a TLG standard baseboard town. I'll get more up as I get more done. Over spent the budget this month.

Quoting Gerry Lennox These are pretty sweet! I am currently building up my Lego Town Fire and Rescue Services, so it is nice to see someone take the time to make some sweet fire engines. I look forward to your future work. Will there be a fire station in all that? I wonder if TLG has ever made a dalmatian.
Thanks Gerry! A fire station is my next project. But because my vehicles are 8-wide, the station would have to be realy, really big and I am a little daunted by the amount of pieces I will have to use. What do you plan to build for your fire department? And I don't think TLG has ever made dalmatians :)
