Another version of someone else's MOC: Toa Lurax, belonging to EDICTARTS. I take no credit for Lurax, although the MOC uses a lot of techniques invented by me. The shoulders are a new thing I'm trying out.

I would have made TOA EDICT or Shadow Lurax, but that would mean I need to paint a mask - something which I avoid. I'm not purist, but mask painting is finicky business which I'm not so good or happy with.
Hopefully I'll get to put him in a video or two, too, if EDICT agrees. If not... meh. Was a fun build. I'm enjoying exploring this new torso design. With Lurax here I widened it to fit the Jaller Mahri armour up top, making him look bulkier and stronger than, say, Mezzinus.

awesome, i could not see why or how EDICT could not let a perfectly good remake of his original self moc on youtube. also, i agree with you about painted masks, some do look kinda cool but it seems a bit too uncreative for a mocer to use.
