Quoting Jonathan Petersen So what peices are used for the lower front bumper?
The bumper was made using two of those: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=x123

Quoting Sebeus I I like the use of springs on the hood (though they're not lego :p)
The used springs are part of a LEGO wheels holder: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2484c01

Michael, these are simply stunning. They are the best 4-wide "real" vehicles I've seen. The best part is... you built three! Fantastic details. Great use of Chrome. Very true to the original. I saw a yellow one on Saturday, and you've really done it justice. Regards, Eric.

Ah my favourite car!!! These are really sweet Chevs! I can totally picture them parked at a 50s drive in! Love the yellow one. I think the side mirrors are really clever! Your photography is really great because it makes them look so shiny and new, like freshly painted cars.
