Vroom, vroom. Every army needs some kind of do-everything, go-everywhere transport. The Alenians have the Królik.
About this creation
Ah, Alenia. A founding member of the B.E.A.R. alliance and a classic example of brinksmanship and imperialist desires.
Well, you can't expand quickly without some sort of light workhorse transport.
Here's the standard work vehicle of the military arm of Greater Alenia: the "Królik" halftrack.
While naming the primary vehicle of your motorised infantry after a small, furry burrowing animal may seem a little strange, 'tis an appropriate name. These things can hide nearly anywhere. They just put a tarp over the top and drive full speed into a snowbank. Gravity does the rest.
Here's some pics of the crew of this particular one from the 17th Light division doing generally warlike things.

To start with: well, I don't know. A quick "pit stop" if you knowhatImeanudgenudgehinthint most likely.

Hey, all vehicles get stuck sooner or later!
At least it's not a Humbug. There isn't an Alenian soldier alive who wouldn't rather walk than ride in one of those PCU deathtraps.

Here our valiant heroes are, winning the hearts and minds of the locals...
(Notice: no gun pointing or shouting. Take note, Jihadis.)

...and giving directions to an ally who's as lost as it's possible to get without ending up in Latvia.

A frontal pic...

...side pic...

...and high angle rear pic.

A pic of the underside. This doesn't happen very often, normally they manage to dodge enemy heavy weapons.
Small arms bounce off, heavy weapons should be outmanuevered at every opportunity.
Well, there's always a few accidents.

That plow thing on the front packs down the snow for easier travel. Can be lowered to cut barbed wire, too.
Hail to the B.E.A.R.!

There is no doubt you have a knack. I also like the treads in the snow, as well as the mortar. Very tasty.

Even light PCU tanks could run this over. I fear what would happen to it if it goes up against our bigger ones... Of course, before you say helicopters and missiles, we have those too. But cool MOC nonetheless.
No, actually I was going to say that this is the Alenian equivelant of the Landrover; it's a utility vehicle. If there's enemy tanks anywhere near it, it's not being used properly. |

I saw this and I laughed at how two people could fit inside. Then I thought of my halftrack fails and it made me laugh harder. Good job. :) |

At check to your comment on the "deathtrap", by time this theme takes place, the US would have already upgraded all remaining Humvees with V-hulls, newer armor kits using similar underlayer armor like that of the Bradley IFV, break-away suspension, and the more integrated use of CROWS as is being suggested right now and will be serviced another 15 years unless the JLTV is adopted de facto. Moving onto the creation, this is a cute little ball of utility goodness. Has the essentials of a M113 in a more specialized package. Nice presentation as well with the depressed prints and muddied ground below the tracks. |

I am wondering what type of guns those are, nice vehicle too.
AKS-74Us; mortar team, you don't give full sized rifles to people who aren't likely to be on the front lines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AKS-74U#AKS-74U

Very nice design! And do you know that "królik" means "rabbit" in my leanguage, Polish?
Of course I know. It means the exact same thing in Russian, as well. |

This is a win in my book. I like the design of the transport, and the vignette base is good, too. 5 points. ~Ryan |
