Underground mining loader built with Lego bricks. Sounds interesting? ;)
About this creation
I work in underground copper mine, so I see mining machines (wheel loaders, bolting rigs etc.) almost every day. Some time ago I've obtained blueprints and images of Sandvik LH 517L mining loader and I used them to build this model.
The result is a 1:20 scale model, powered from Rechargeable Battery, driven by one PF XL motor and steered by one PF Medium motor:

Arm is raised by two pneumatic cylinders and bucket is operated by one pneumatic cylinder:
Very cool! The lights, and pneumatic functions are excellent. I dont know how any one can complain about the cord! Pics with the real machines are pretty cool too. Do you operate the machines?
Nice Job MAN!! O.O I like it how you did the details, the way how it is made, and the look how it is made. Because i'm thinking that when I get older or somthing like that I was thinking 4 a while that I want to be a underground miner that works with machines and fixing them and working down there. Nice Job, 3,000,000/10 keep up the good work. ;)
This goes way and way beyond rating 5, it's more than that! I really enjoyed watching those magnificent pictures and the movie. Very good point is, that you share your building method with other Lego moc builders. I appreciate it very much.
Very nice model (of a machine I did never ever have the change to see... :-). What I like about it is the color scheme, for once not a yellow one... :-). Again a very nice model that works pretty well...
