No story behind this guy, just an experiment with a new shadow matoran design (also soon to be used on my subterranean Ak-Matoran) using those 'telescopic' mata arms, and also an experiment with a story idea of mine: activated matoran.

Eki is a prime example of an activated matoran. Besically a matoran who can use their powers. In my story, makuta can grant matoran elemental powers but not turn them into toa. Nivorn is a former makuta and so that's why he "had ways" to give Eki water and shadow powers.

The result? A tiny little ball of fury! Alternative-Universe Vultraz here must have been edited by Alternative-Universe Mutran. He has shadow powers, and fire powers (Balrog alert!), and the design reflects that by having crystalline firey parts. Basically different trans-colours like this on my matoran would show they're activated, and opaque guys are normal.

Why this particular song? Haven't got a clue.

Why choose Vultraz to make? Well... I guess I never was happy with the original set... I remade his bike once, too. See Der Flugzahne for more on that. :)

Well... anyway. There you go. More random stuff from the grey gunk between my ears. Who knows? Perhaps some of you even understood it. Rates and comments would be appreciated :P

Oh, and know that my Ak-Matoran WON'T be using that leg design. It's just a one-off ^^.

I'm pretty sure activated matoran can just go in the Isle of Thorns. Any matoran could be activated - any player's character. I still need to chalk up the rules for that.
