At around 6 P.M. units of the 1st Battalion were alerted for the report of a house on fire at 1026 Kenyon St. N.E. Engine 1 responded as the first due Engine, along with Truck 1 as the first due Truck. Units arrived at 1026 Kenyon Street to find smoke and flames showing from the roof of the occupied, wood frame dwelling, and a working fire dispatch was sounded. The small blaze was confined to the area of origin.Engine 1’s lineman received a few gentle kisses from the fire gods and was transported to NRH hospital. He was later released. Welcome to The East End rookie.

Quoting noah bringroff what did u use for the hose?

I used shoe laces. And for the "charged" looking hose, i used a thicker sized lace.
