If you commented before you might want to again since I had to repost this. This is my 4th entry in the 2010 Mech Contest in the category STEAMPUNK (duh). This is my very first attempt at Steampunk, so please be gentle with any criticisms. This thing was VERY hard to build and keep in one piece, BUT I'm very happy with the end result and will build more in this theme. Mad props go out to Louis K for building and posting the very first Steampunk AT-ST! Please RATE and COMMENT:)

LOL this is innovative- and you figured out how to put two guys in without making head too big (well it's a little bit too big but legofigs are so wide) oh and i don't want to sound irritating but could you finally check out at least my Dantooine moc and X-wing please... usually i don't even have to ask- have you been busy lately you haven't been as active as you normally are?...
Yeah, I finally got a job:)

I love it! But what piece did you use for the front of the feet?
Do you mean the "toe" pieces? I used hinge plates with a clip plate with the circle on the end, then attached cheese slope pieces to either side of the circle. |

wow thats rly good!..it looks soo complicated to build and i cant even comprehend how it stays standing up on such little feet!the smoke coming out of the top is a nice addition to..with all the joint pieces it looks like u could have even made it motorized(if thats even possible :P)good job!.btw can u plz give this a look? http://mocpages.com/moc.php/199193
The hardest part of getting this thing to stand was the legs. Because, they were hollow, this thing had a tendency to crumble. There's no way I could've made the legs motorized:) |

Wow, I feel honored to be mentioned here! This walker is definitely pretty cool and the fact it's your first try at something steampunk makes it even better. My favorite part on this is the complex and detailed leg construction. I think it's really hard to build something that has been made before without having any similarities to that as you did! But I have to admit, I'm not the very first guy to build a Steampunk AT-ST, check out this ( http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/48134), anyways I wasn't inspired by that, since it has quite a different design than mine :) However all in all great work, I'd love to see you trying a little more steam powered stuff! |
