My Lego Star Wars Moc: Battle on Coruscant
This is My lego star wars moc based on a somewhat fictional battle on coruscant. Originally I decided I wanted to start collecting clones, I then realised that I didn't want to just display them all standing in a rows. So I decided to make this. It took me about 6 months to complete from start to finish. Granted most of that time was spent buying clones. It is my greatest build and the pinnacle of my lego career, one of which I am very proud of, thanks and enjoy!
About this creation
Essentially this Moc was built around the idea that the clones and droids were involved in a major battle on the ground of Coruscant. The are in which this battle was taking place included a bridge that ran through the center with a drain in the ground that joins it.

I created this Moc in six different subsections that can easily be joined together to create the final display. This also helps by making it easy to store away when i am not displaying it. When i store it away i wrap each individual subsection with cling wrap so to limit the amount of dust that tends to accumulate on LEGOŽ.

The subsection with the drain was the hardest to build. The idea behind it was to have something like the trenches used in world war two that would also coincide with the environment of Coruscant. So i came up with the idea of using a concrete drain. Since i decided that i would be building the drain "into the ground", i had to figure out a way to elevate all six subsections to allow for it. Finally i came up with the idea of building wooden frames to support all six modules and allow room for the drain.

In the end i had approximately 109 clone troopers including standard clones, clone gunners, jetpack clones, clone pilots, commander fox and commander rex. I also had approximately 50 droids including battle droids and super battle droids.

I spent a lot of time and money on this but in the end it is exactly what i always wanted it to be. Thanks for taking a look, enjoy!

Quoting Chris Valois This is epic i've been trying to get enough clones for something like this about how much money does it cost for all of those clones and do you get them from the clone battle pack?
Thanks a lot man, yeah that was the same issue i had, getting the clones was costly and because of that it took me a while to amass the amount that i have today. Yeah i got most of them from the battle packs and got a few from other sets but i would say at least 80% are from the battle packs and since i live in Australia each battlepack was AUD$20 that's almost double what it costs in the states! So i jst waited for stores like target to have 20% off sales and i bought everything that they had lol

I like it, but it needs more colour, a battle is colourful, this is bland, it lacks some detail but i cant agree with you more about that awsome looking drain, that IS THE BEST part about the whole thing great job keep it up

Stunning piece of work! I admire your dedication and I especially liked the movie of you describing the quadrants. Makes me appreciate the trench/drain almost as much as you do. Oh, and you own slightly more clones than I do ;)
