The Castle Manor of Lord Schull
The consummation of years of labor on the part of Lord Schull. The Manor of Blue Falls.
About this creation
The dark knights of Count Dramiur had harassed and pillaged the country for years, and Lord Schull fast grew weary of this. He built upon the cliffs by Blue Falls a manor worthy of living, but defensible as well. Some villagers soon developed a liking to the valley, and it became a location for fishing, grazing cattle, and the like. A little market soon appeared outside the castle gate, for the convenience of the small garrison and surrounding villagers. Occasionally, strange merchants traveling the country would stay for short periods to display their foreign goods. Explorers and adventurers stopped at times by the manor, which was distanced well apart from the larger cities, and far into the country. The Lord was strict but hospitable, and the usually-quiet valley presented a peaceful place to dwell.

The manor itself was created almost entirely by Marcus Schultz, at Brick Battalions .

Oops! Balancing act gone bad...

A lovely bit of stained glass by Marcus.

A bit of swordplay on the backside of the manor...

The mighty little gate:)

And, I built everything else that you see...

Here we have the little market, which sees a surprisingly large amount of action!

Custom short legs - that walk!

The completely honest Indian Trader

I hold some truths to be self-evident. Don't ask...

The night life...

Would you shut up already??!!!

Soldiers? A food fight? Naahh...

I said don't ask...

The completely honest Indian Traitor

Thanks again to Marcus Schultz! He was an awesome partner and did a really fantastic job on the Manor.

Quoting Camden Roy I Love it but one question how did u make those short legs that move?
*guilty smile* I - uh - modified it. (gasp!) I do Brickfilms, and needed childrens legs. How they ended up in this build, I can't recollect...

Lots and lots of little stories in this thing! I dig it! As for features that catch the eye, I really like the two tall towers at the main gate, and the windows on the chapel. But SO MUCH going on! The eastern accents are slick as well. Who doesn't dig honest Indian merchants? Attack!

Big. I envy your plate and rock collection. Too bad that last section of the cliff couldn't be done in dark gray, but with the scale this creation is in, I'm amazed you had that many dark gray pieces. Oh, and the stained glass windows on the manor are pure genius. Great job!

Quoting eric waite Amazing! I love how there's soul to the piece- it could easily have a story behind it, and the figures aren't just figures, they're characters. Very impressive!

All I can say is, you must have a garage full of legos like Mr. Kelso. You built something that in my whole time on mocpages I will probably never attempt, simply because of lack of pieces. The waterfall here is amazing, and the backdrop, simply a work of genius. Your friend did an awesome job as well, the stained glass is awesome. I look forward to more MOCs from you. ~Waff
