From Star Wars Episode V, here's a mini model of the famous Cloud City!

About this creation

Not only is it a decent portrayl of the city, the top can also be removed and used as a top! It spins for a good 40 seconds, which I think is pretty neat =) (If only I had thought of this in time for Yuri Fasso's top contest...)

By the way, the model was color edited in Picasa (a free photo-editing software) due to the fact that the chain around the edge only comes in a brown... I also added an orange touch to the top (of the edited image) to better reflect the Bespin sky =)

Very cool. I loved the look of Cloud City, but there were so many clouds and too little shots of the whole thing. I always wondered how they got it there. It's also great being a top so it has some fun little function.

That chain does in fact exist in black, but is quite rare. l have 3 or 4 links in my entire collection, and the only place l've seen it is bricklink. Not sure where l got mine anymore...

This really would have been perfect for the top contest! I'm glad you told us that you photoshopped the chain because i thought lego released them in a new color! I got all excited :)
