This is my second attempt to build the beautiful clone ship from episode two, the Acclamator class, republic assault ship. I was never really satisfied with the look of my old acclamator, so I decided to give it another go. The total amount of bricks used is about 6500-7000 give or take a few. The build time was about a year and that includes planning, designing, building and rebuilding things that wouldn’t work, and waiting for bricklink orders lol. This time I built it in UCS style, I wanted it to look realistic with loads of greebles which isn't just placed at random. I used several high-rez pictures for reference including the episode 2 incredible cross-section, so it is as accurate as lego will allow in that scale. Besides making it bigger and wider than before I also added new things such as extendable boarding ramps, landing gear or pads which can be removed and engines with light-up features.
