About this creation
Introducing... the PARASITE space scavenger (piloted by Squidman).

I know it has been some time since I've added a MOC here. This free-build was made using two Fero/Skirmix Bionicle sets (8990) and misc. system parts. I normally don't build Bionicle, but back in December the Fero/Skirmix set was 50% off in an after-Christmas sale at Walmart. I figured I could at least use the technic pieces on another steam train MOC... but I did have some ideas for making a spaceship out of the parts too. None of those ideas actually showed up in this final result, but I really liked the results of this organic build.

The modular aspect was really well done with this, The portions flow together to appear to be one seamless MOC. Nice work on this.

Oooohhhh...that is so nasty! I don't think I want to see one of those chasing me. What an awesome creation! Great use of some weird parts.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the comments. ... to take the modularity even further, I'm considering ways to make those "red claws" into a stand-alone vehicles for a minifig... something like "flying ant hover-bikes", since they kind of look like a red ant from the side (the sides would become the top in vehicle mode)...

Several things: trains are cool, this is cooler. Organic? this is natural talent! The red lobster claws are perfect, Squidman is the best figure of the past year and the spider look is just awesome. Greatings

This is so cool. It reminds me of a reaver ship from firefly/serenity when it is all together

Absolutely awesome. The name is perfect. The living spaceship reminds me of the 2007 Bionicle playsets.
