G.A.I.A. Hvy Carrier - 'The Sword of Justice' + new fighter
The new generation of carrier, as commssioned by GAIA as the second alien war broke out, The Sword of Justice is an Ante-Bellum construct, purpose built to seek out enemy strongholds and destroy them.
About this creation
Fresh off Earth's Space Dock, this carrier holds 4 squadrons of 300 fighters each, for a total of 1200.
It is also armed with twin super rail-guns, 2 hvy gun stacks, 2 laser cannon stacks, 2 missile mega-silos and an experimental(front)micro wave cannon.
It is also equipped with a recently developed jump drive gyroscope, as seen at the highest point.
Crew ~20,000
Displacement, lol, hehe, there is no displacement is space! (96 studs long)

The 'Bulldog' fighter, is a blunt nose re-make of the Hell Fire. Range has been exchanged for a far shorter frame which allows an almost doubling of their number in any given fighter hanger. What it has given up in range, it makes up for in extra missiles and heavier fire power, and slightly better maneuverability. It is marked 43 which means it belongs to the third wing of the ships 4th squadron. 100 fighters per wing.

G'day Michal, thanks so much for the feed back. To clarify, are you suggesting a faux interior for a micro scale ship that is actually alos done in microscale. I imagine you have see the mock up interiors I tend to do for my ships, but as yet they have all been in mini-fig scale. So it stands to reason that a micrscale interior could allow for a very extensive bridge and hangar scene to be built. A great suggestion friend and something I would really like to do given a chance. I am hoping to get some building in during the holidays this year, studies have taken up a lot of my time. Cheers mate, and I can't wait to see your next work. BTW, please feel free to build your GAIA style vessel, always fun to see someone elses take on GAIA.

hard to say something convenient to not repete what was said before :D Beside perfect sense of CS aesthetics and great battle ships, your style is very original and eye-catching. If I may, can you make something similiar microscale with some interior? I know that it is very difficult, but since that I didnt seen any top micro-ship builder doing that. I am looking forward to see more from you :D

Quoting Matthew Novosad WOW! Great job, you are truly a great builder! Bravo, how long did this take to make?
G'day Mathew! Thanx mate, this one took me a couple of days I must admit, but I had some time off and little to do so it was time well spent. (Uploading and editing was the hardest part. There are some real wizards on this site with shop, I am usually blown away by what they can do; but I do my best. Cheers buddy...

Quoting Parrington Levens How about yourself mate? ...you going to try a big one?
I've been "working" on it for some months now, but only a few days in real working time... But since I'm very slow to design and build (and moreover I need to buy additional bricks), don't expect anything very big: let's say it will be big compared to my usual production ! Looking forward to your next MOC then !

Quoting Ultramarine . This is an amazing ship, but I gotta say the fighter is my favorite! I have an affinity for fighters built 'sideways', so that's my pick. Great job again!
Hehe, I'm with you Ultramarine, I could build fighters all day, and this one is my sleekest yet, so glad you liked it, I will upload a couple extra pics of it into this Moc I think, there is a second shot of it in the smaller pics grid...

How about a change of setting instead? Some land vehicles perhaps? A research facility? Some infantry? Ahh! Advance the story you mean. Well that would be fun. I kind of felt like I stereo typed myself as a ship builder and couldn't do anything else! Well I like that idea alot Yuri. Infact, it kind of has me interested in opening up my Lego cupboard again. My first couple builds might suk, so bare with me, I like the idea of changing direction for a while. Cheers for the follow up man, I'm excited again...

Quoting Parrington Levens I was wondering if I am stagnating, what should I do to keep it interesting? Develop radically new designs, or a different scale?

Quoting Aidan Bryant You should try adjusting some of the lighting in the pictures, by selecting just the ship, and either lowering/raise brightness, or go over it with the brush tool, set to high transperency to give the pictures an even nicer look to them. Help them feel like the ship belongs in the shot a bit more.
Sound good to me, I will try figuring out shop a bit more from here on, I have very rudimentary skils at the moment, and always appreciate valuable tips, so cheer Aidan, I was wondering about the 'fakeness' issue. Cheers...

Quoting David Calvet Yes, I've seen the Astro-Motive (I was the second one to comment on it !) and I like it a lot... I would say something as big as the Astro-Motive but with an exterior as detailed as this one.
Cool, sorry mate I should have checked, give me some time, but I reckon the next one wil be right up your alley. How about yourself mate? You do some great cs as well, you going to try a big one? Be great to see...

Quoting Marcus Forsberg Well, someone had some fun with Photoshop... The "Scramble!" shot is brilliant, very creative. And of course: the ships are superb.
Hehe, cheers Marcus, funny thing is i saw my page at a mates house last night, and his monitor is back lit, and I saw some of my shop is not so neat as it looks on my monitor, but I was relieved to see the cover and that cool pic you just mentioned were fine. That one really was a bit of fun too. Cheers mate...

Quoting David Calvet This ship is great, and the bulldog fighter is also very nice. I particularly like the picture with the fleet of small fighters getting out of the huge carrier. What about building a big minifig-scale spaceship ? Bigger than your LL-33 (which I love) at least...
interesting idea, but how big? I was planning LL 34 next believe it or not, have you checked out my Astro-motive? It's over 100 studs lond and a mini-fig build? You might like it...Give us idea if you can on the scale you are suggesting David, and i'll see what i can do. bf

Quoting Mike Johnson A simply brilliant design and concept! It's great to see how many more people are recognizing your fine work since I dropped off the proverbial radar screen. Quoting Cody G Haha, that's true. Ever seen top gear? I saw this one episode where one of the guys was sad that the V8 engines are slowly disappearing, so he decided to turn one into a blender so they would never be truly gone. Haha, he made a smoothie out of raw beef, hot sauce, and a brick. I just forgot where I was going with this, something to do with smaller engines in the future... anyway it was really funny. XD
Hehe, sounds funny. I wish I could afford to run a roaring V8, nothin more beautiful than a muscle car, but I drive a 2litre Focus lol. One day, I'll have the money! I'll be one of those middle aged guys driving around in what should be a teenagers car!

Thanx mate, I guess I have gone with the notion that the engines are so futuristic, that they look neat if you know what I mean, but I DO like beefy engines myself, I mean just check out A.M.I.S.T hehe, lol. Cheers Cody...

Quoting Marc R. I think this is one of your best, if not ´the´ best of your capital ships. The streamlined hull gives it a very elegant touch and its guns give it the necessary punch! Cannot say, that I have a special part I like most. This ship is a beauty from every angle! You did also very well on the new fighter. A total win! P.S.: Hehe, it is always nice to see the appearance of G.A.I.A.´s ambassadors, especially the one from Sirius. ;-P Cheers mate!
Thnax mate, it's definitely the best of mine to look at for my money, really smooth, and the sponson bays were so much fun to make. hehe, and it's always good to include my fellow GAIA VIP's when possible... Cheers...
