Cotton hood accessory, Prototype One.
An idea I've been experimenting with, of giving minifigs hoods with a softer cotton look, and in a whole assortment of colors other then the ones provided.
About this creation
I've been toying with this idea a lot, and finally decided to showcase a prototype on one of my lego men to get an idea of what you guys think of it so far, so feel free to comment and critique! but please note, its questions about the hood, not the minifig:P

I'll start with a front ground level view:

Now the left side:

And the right:

And finally the back:

I just was thinking of these to give my men a more unique and natural look. Kindly comment and tell me what you think!

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 well, like my buddy sebeus said,as he took the words from my mouth it seems,i m quite puristic too, and, your cape looks good, lego adapted us to fabric clothes years ago so,it kind of a natural look! sooo, you did it yourself? impressive, you really belong here as an artiste, and it makes your comments on my creation even more precious, and appreciated, thanks a lot! your welcome to comment my stuff anytime! your experiments with clothes will be a nice addition to these pages good work and good luck! hey! just had an idea that would benefit us all! most of us struggle with interiors problems, one of the worst cases are the beds, with minifigs in them! some have succeded in making it looks good, but, it s a big hassle,it would be simpler if someone[you]could imagine a way to use fabric to cover the figs when in bed,the sheets should look good if they re thight all around the bed! give me news about it if you can!
Thank you so much for this very kind comment! Those sheets are such an interesting idea, I'll give it a go and see what I can come up with. May take me a bit though:)

Quoting Sebeus I Very nice, I'm a purist and I don't use non-lego parts but this cotton hood looks so 'lego', it fits well with a cape (I like how it is attached to a minifig the same way) though I'd prefer them the same color, anyway, very nice (and that means a lot, coming from a purist)
Thank you so much! My main goal was to make it look like it could be an actual Lego element, so this thrills me:D Also I have since made it so not only I can make capes the same color as the hood, but I can even make them one piece! I may try to post pics soon.

I really like it. The only thing is i think the sides look a bit to stretched. But otherwise its a gret start. I think it will look great on LOTR minifigs. Come check out my stuff.

Quoting Tim Gibson A fantastic idea and a fantastic job on the hood. I like seeing someone, especially your age, take the time, patience, and care necessary to have pride in their work. Well done.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it. I have recently also made a newer variant that makes the hood and cape one piece, I'm planning on posting that as soon as I get more in various colors.

Quoting Alex Mac Wow! Did you make that yourself? Like sew it and everything? Because if you did, I'm very impressed. It looks really nice, and will most likely become very handy in the future..
Yup, I custom designed the forms, stitched it by hand, the whole bit:) Glad you like it! It is being VERY useful, currently I have made a number for some elves, and for my Aragorn:D

Very good prototype. It seems to be a little big around the sides though, but the stitching on the top does give it a natural feel to it.
