The Oceanian Navy's newest addition, an attack submarine! This is a light, speedy submarine with armament to make hit and run attacks on ships and coastal defenses. The nuclear power plant gives it the ability to be speedy and agile, both above and below the water.
It is equipped with:
1 50mm Naval cannon,
2 dual anti small craft machine guns,
4 torpedo tubes under the waterline,
2 medium missile launchers.
Overview, this thing exceeds my photo backdrop, so you can see some of the kitchen counter behind.

The top of the conning tower, notice the periscope.
These small "wings" fold out while the sub is under water to keep it balanced.
The periscope extends upward.
The Navy 50 mm cannon, mounted behind the conning tower.
It locks into a down position and seals the barrel when underwater.
Two dual anti small craft machine guns.
these also go into a locked position and seal off when underwater.
Here is the missile hatches, which open, exposing the dual missile tubes.
Here are the hatches open, revealing the tubes below.
One of the missiles designed for this craft, set over the tube. The fins on the bottom are spring loaded, so the missile can launch from the tube, and the fins, which wouldn't fin in the tube in a fixed position, spring out when in the air.
Close up of the missile. It can be used against large ships, or to take out coastal defenses.
The sub commander coming up out of the conning tower.
Sub commander and missile placed for scale. If you haven't figured it out already, I only built it to the waterline, where it would be if above water.
Maybe someday I'll revisit it and build the rest of the sub. Probably not, but its nice to think about.
Oi, sorry I forgot to comment on this! I in fact had seen it, and was QUITE excited about the sheer size of the thing! I love the missile hatches, they look very realistic. Also good that it has a fairly strong deck gun and four torpedo tubes. Overall, very nice and probably very deadly submarine. I hope it serves well for you!
