When I worked at TLG a few years ago, the designers were asked if they'd like to participate in the AFOL moonbase project, by entering a module. This was my entry based on the Ice planet 2002 series (which is actually from 1993-1994). All modules from the designers were up for auction in the end, so I've never seen it back...
Luckily I found some photos of it that I took back then.
About this creation
Some people from the ice planet are up early today and already at work.
"Hey you down there, have you seen Mr Icecube somewhere? I'm using my binoculars, but don't see him anywhere..."
"Brrr. It looks so cold outside. I think I stay in today, hiding somewhere."
Corridor in detail. Much SNOT involved.
Even the floor of the corridors is transparent orange.
This is how it looks from a minifig's perspective. The orange coating protects them from getting sun-burned.

2002 ? I thought the Iceplanet series is way older, about 1995 I believe, anyway, it's very nice, I like the corridors, great job
You are right! I was confused by the fact that it was called Iceplanet 2002. Thanks for pointing this out; I changed it in the description. |

The base's colours looks like it was based on a Popsicle firecracker. . . But anyway the build is very good. Where did you get so many orange window pieces though? |

Wow! I've always liked the IP theme, old enough to remember when it was still out! Great job! Oh, by the way, my name is Nathanael too. I only know one person that spells it our way. |

Wonderful. I think those old space themes have the best and coolest color schemes ever. While my favorite is Classic Space, Ice Planet made it place 2 now. The modularity is great to, the best way to get a connection with other builders. :) |
