This is my official entry into the COP V UNE diorama contest. This wartorn cityscape is filled with destroyed walls and pockmarked ground. I especially love how my hardsuit came out, and it fits a full fig. The hardsuit really is the highlight of the MOC, and gets a lot of pics to itself.
About this creation
I'm not too sure on a backstory, basically this city has been fought over for such a long time it barely resembles a city anymore. The entire place has decayed and the concrete is crumbling. Bullet holes can be found on nearly every wall. The Coalition unleashes a new mech for urban warfare and it obliterates a UNE patrol. The Coalition comes to back up the mech, but as you can see, it won't need much help.
After some importing errors, I present 100 MB worth of images of my diorama and accompanying hardsuit. This was my first time doing a hardsuit and I really love how it turned out. These pictures are from Flickr, so they came out nice and clear.
I dislike the Coalition, therefore, I think you put little effort into this! (April Fools, of course) I think the landscape is beyond excellent, but (Don't mean to be a harsh critic) you could of at least included a bit more filling, like a roof or two, a couple captions, a backstory, a bit more action, maybe a vehicle for the U.N.E., remnants of a failed/failing U.N.E. assault (They didn't just walk in!), stuff like that. It just feels a bit... empty. (3/5)
Soldiers look wicked; scenery looks awesome, hardsuit looks... well, words cannot really describe how unbelievably amazing the hardsuit is, but overall, tremendous build my friend. I would love to see what you would have to say about some of my more recent MOC's - it would be greatly appreciated. Anyways, keep up the excellent work man.
Using the vocabulary of earth, I cannot accurately describe the epicness of this dio. :D Great work, Gus. Great work. Hardsuit is awesome, soldiers are awesome, dio is awesome, detail is awesome. I said it before, and I'll say it again: Great work.
